Victime d’une infection respiratoire : Le pape François hospitalisé
Le directeur du service se presse du Saint-Siège, Matteo Burin a annoncé dans un communiqué, ce mercredi 29 mars, que le pape François souffre d’une infection respiratoire.
Le souverain pontife de 86 ans a été admis à l’hôpital de Gemelli, à Rome, dans l’après-midi, pour “des contrôles médicaux programmés”, selon ce qu’a fait savoir Vatican.

“On a prévu du temps dans l’agenda afin de pouvoir poursuivre les contrôles aussi longtemps que nécessaire”, affirme une source vaticane. Le Vatican n’a pas communiqué sur la nature des examens poursuivis.
