Un faux médecin arrêté par la Police du Nord
La Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH) informe avoir arrêté le nommé Bendjy Chéry, âgé de 31 ans, dans la vile du Cap-Haïtien, le vendredi 24 février 2023
En effet, Bendjy Chéry a été appréhendé par la Police dans la ville du Cap-Haïtien pour usurpation de titre, abus de confiance et escroquerie.
Selon les autorités policières, il se faisait passer pour un médecin en délivrant de faux papiers médicaux à des citoyens.
En faisant l’usage de fausses identités, dont Gilles, Peterson, le nommé Bendjy Chéry se prétendait être également agent de voyage en recevant de l’argent aux mains des gens pour planifier leur voyage vers des pays étrangers, puis s’est enfui, ont ajouté les autorités.
Dès lors, dix-sept (17) plaintes ont été déposées à son encontre par des victimes. Bendjy Chéry était activement recherché par la Police depuis 2020.
Présentement, il est gardé à vue en attendant les suites judiciaires nécessaires, a précisé l’institution policière.
